When pain was born!
It was not born in a Manger but in the Garden of Eden it was not a stranger.
The man and the woman you created Lord were at ease, upon their bodies lay no disease! From Satan it did come, from the sin of Adam it had sprung.
Who can blame God for what man had chosen? Adam did not choose the Lord’s perfect life free of sickness and disease and only light pain but swallowed the Devil’s lie, believing that he could be like God and that would be great gain!
Adam made that choice for us, how can we blame God for what we know is true, put to the same test, we would fail too! Jesus came, praise his name, he became you and me with all our sins and faults and nailed them to a tree! Today we are no longer guilty, for our Lord Jesus has set us free!
I wrote this poem because of so many people in pain, I also have gone through years of pain and want to offer some possible solutions that have helped me. I found out that I was deficient in the following; Vitamin D, Zinc, Magnesium, B Vitamins. I have been taken these for a few months and today I can walk without pain, praise God!
If you are suffering with pain I suggest you go to a Doctor and be tested for deficiencies in the Vitamin and Minerals I spoke of. I have read that if your tongue has a white coating, you are deficient in one of what I listed above, I read that most people are Zinc deficient, it is a vital Mineral that supports the Immune System, Magnesium is used in the body for over 200 functions, it also eases muscle pain, Calcium also does that but get a Doctor of
Nutrition to determine what and how much of Vitamins, Minerals or Supplements you personally need to take, too much of a good thing can be bad, the exception to that is that Christians should always ask to be “Filled” with the Holy Spirit all the time and Jesus said that this will be the case for all those who ask the Father for that!
Note: When God created Adam and eve their bodies had all the same pain sensors as we have today, the difference is that they had no life ending diseases or sickness or genetic defects, all of those things came after Adam fell in sin, because of that a curse was pronounced on the earth and it also affected Adam and Eve. You can read in the Book of Genesis that not only were they thrown out of their life of leisure from the Garden of Eden but Adam was told he had to WORK to live and Eve was told that her light pain in childbirth would be GREATLY increased!) Today much of our pain comes through disease, sickness and genetic inheritance (Among what I have named you can include mental or emotional pain which can be worse than physical pain!) which all came through the sin of Adam!
Merry Christmas to all and a Healthy, Prosperous, Pain Free New Year to All!
God bless, Ken

Why is my soul in such distress?
The morning sun is rising; it glistens upon a drop of rain on my window sill,
I hear the birds sweetly singing but my soul is not still.
It is lying in a bath of my tears, they have been endlessly flowing you see,
they express my great sorrow and sadness for the object of my love taken from me.
I don’t know how long this pain will last; it is new to me and like nothing in my past.
Now the night again is coming, darkness has entered my room, once more my soul is stirred and I return to my gloom.
The life that left me was conceived in love, it was so little that I don’t know if it was a he or she but this I do know, it is with thee.
I know that in time from this dark valley my soul shall rise, it will again sing for joy
upon the mountain top under the blue sky.
One day to Heaven I will go and see the Lord and the child I never did know,
my exalted soul with joy will flow.
As the Prophet wrote; surely he bore our sorrows, true but he also bore our sins in order that we not perish but have Eternal Life with Him!
I have dedicated this poem to my son and daughter-in-law who have just gone through this deep valley, we mourn with them as we also were there and have a child in Heaven also.

Who made you, you?

He made you, he made me for his own delight and in our souls he put his own light.

You made some guy the apple of your eye while your Dad is saying; Come look at the wonder of my Sky.

Don’t you know he is your first love and jealous of you little dove, his Angels have been sent to watch over you from above.

It’s no wonder that you’re fickle heart has taken flight; someone stole it in the night.

He let you wander away but not from his sight, a lost sheep the word does say, wandering far from what’s right.

But his voice calls to you, fret not my pet I am not far and you I will get you yet!

Did you not see the flowers I put around your windows and door, even by the barren shore I have planted more.

And have you heard the new song I had the birds sing for you today, their tune makes you sway, I know you have heard it in your ear my little dear.

I guess by now you know how much I love you, I made you special for my own, I formed you in your mother’s womb and my purpose was you would be mine alone and I would save you from the world’s gloom.

From all Eternity I purposed to have a people for my own, they would be from of all the tribes of the earth, because my Son died for them they will have much worth.

When in your eyes I am all you see, ask and I will give you your heart’s desire for shure, even one to love, knocking at your door.

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow Me John 10:27 NASB.

For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost. Luke 19:10 NASB.

God loves everyone and other false doctrines embraced by today’s modern Churches.

Many of the Preachers and Teachers in today’s Churches state that God loves everyone in the world but scripture says otherwise. On one hand the Bible clearly states that nothing can separate the believer “In Christ” and that includes even himself by using the words things above or things below, nakedness being used as a term for sin, as shown in the Garden of Eden. Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Romans 8:35 NASB-I recommend reading the verses before and after this one. We are kept by the power of God and not our own strength which can fail. Jesus and the Father keep us in their hands and no one can take us out!

What about those in Hell or going there? If God also loved them they would not be in that state, in fact the scriptures declare that God hates the wicked, he is angry with them constantly; this is definitely not an expression of love!

The second falsehood I wish to point out is the teaching that Christians are to forgive everyone for anything all the time. The latest I just read at a web site was that God’s forgiveness based upon repentance is different than the believer’s forgiveness; they are saying that with God there must be repentance for their sin but with the Church we are to forgive without the person being sorry or repentant. Forgive me but would that not over shadow God Almighty who requires repentance for forgiveness? We are to imitate the Lord Jesus who did not overlook repentance and did not forgive the sins of the self-righteous Jews that included the Scribes and Pharisees, even calling them children of the Devil

Paul the Apostle was apparently very angry with Alexander the Coppersmith who did him much harm, Paul did not forgive him and asked the Lord to repay him which I’m sure the Lord did! Paul did not exclude this revenge from the Saints, he told them not to take their own revenge but do as he did, give then into God’s hands to repay. Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written, “VENGEANCE IS MINE, I WILL REPAY,” says the Lord. Romans 12:19 NASB.

In the Book of Revelation the souls of the martyred Saints under the Altar cried out for vengeance upon those who murdered them by asking; “How long Lord”, they had NOT forgiven them! Consider also that believers brought other believers before the Church for disputes or for money owed to them, why didn’t they just say; I must forgive you? And when a believer had a grievance against another believer they were to go “Privately “to them in order for them to repent or correct the problem. If this failed they were to bring a spiritual believer in order help resolve the issue, if this didn’t work the person could be brought before the Church assembly. Paul had written about some being put out of the congregation. With “Blanket” forgiveness there would be no need to do anything but the word refutes that. And consider if our Country was attached what are we to do as Christians? Jesus told Roman believing Soldiers to “Do your duty, don’t take bribes” He did NOT tell them to forgive their enemy and lay down their swords! What would the world be like if God did not take up the sword against the Germans and Japanese with many Christians soldiers laying down their lives so we can live and worship in freedom!

Christians according to God’s word should not take fellow believers to a Civil Court but can take an unbeliever to Court. If the “Blanket” forgiveness for believers were true then no believer could sue anyone or legally settle a dispute because they would have to say I forgive you. If you take this to the extreme, imagine if someone breaks into a believer’s home, wife and children are brutally murdered and the believer is kicked out of his own home and the bad guy lives there. This man is supposed to say; I’m not even going to tell the Police because I love and forgive you! Gee, imagine if that was Paul the Apostle, that would be much worse that what the Coppersmith did to him. The truth that is backed up by scripture and Jesus said to *confront them, and if they repent then you must forgive them. God understands that we are weak in our human frames, we have the treasure of the Holy Spirit in these earthen vessels but his power is given to us for pulling down strongholds and everything that exalts itself above God like Satan and those who belong to him and we are kept by his power also. If you want assurance that God loves you, believe in Jesus of whom the scriptures proclaim from Genesis to Revelation, when you do he will quicken your spirit and soul and you will have the truth because HE will be abiding IN you forever!

*This is only for believers in the Church, the body of Christ, but like the thief on the cross, he was forgiven all his sins, went to Paradise with the Lord but still had to lose his flesh to death for his crime. Christians today can lose their lives for Christ or acts of sin that the Law demands death but in both cases when the body dies the spirit and soul join Jesus in Heaven INSTANTLY! On the cross Jesus paid for ALL our sins, past present and future!

Note: I have written previously about this subject in greater detail, it can be found in my blogs about the subject of forgiveness.

Have you heard the Living Word?

As had been said; words do have power; your time to come alive may be this very hour!

Awake oh sleeper has your knap been sweet are you still desirous of something to eat?

What can satisfy the hunger of your soul, don’t you realize only Jesus can make you whole?

Do you want to go on blindly seeking   for all the world’s means of making you whole or the Lord’s peace that will comfort your soul?

He came into this dark world to give you light, when you know him his joy will be your delight!

He may speak to you in the morn before you arise, or at noon time in the bright but even at nighttime his Spirit will give you light.

He loves you this I can assure, his mercy and kindness will make you love him more!

Jesus said; “My peace I give unto you, not as the world gives”

The world offers peace through drink, drugs and whatever but these cannot quench the thirsting of the soul that longs for God, only he can do that!

A poem for those hurting and sad

She loved her life in this world as many do, soon to find out how few really love you!

The evil pleasures of sin are only for a while; painful can be the birth of an unexpected child.

God does allow his loved ones to suffer the results of sin for a reason, but joy comes in the newness of life in due season.

Out of her pain and anguish comes the soothing balm from God and all her sufferings it will extinguish.

Then she will call upon me says the Lord and she will never again ask amiss.

Her walk with her King will be sweet much love and spiritual food to eat.

Good things will he give to her his Bride, in his arms she will always abide, always wanting him by her side.

*Then will her song be sweet and her poems for her Lord hard to beat.

Those will say who live on her street, who is this shining star we want to meet.

And when she speaks to them she will give them spiritual food to eat!

She will be God’s light from above; her face will shine with his love, with the Angels smiling from above.

*There are so many souls who have been wounded by their circumstances or poor choices in life, so many make decisions never knowing if they are right. I believe that only the Lord Jesus will direct a person to make the right decision because he cannot make a mistake! He calls out even today; “Come unto me all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest!” Many have holes in their hearts that only God’s love can fill!

My brother’s wife, a poem

Her name is Arleen, to my brother Bob she was his Queen.

Many of the things she did went unseen, she was always quiet and never mean.

When keeping the house with all its bills and costs she was very keen.

They always had help from above; their Lord Jesus kept them with his love.

One sad day Bob did depart, he left carrying his great love for Arleen and the boys in his heart.

From this world of woe our beloved Robert did go, he is not gone as some would say, he is in Heaven with Jesus to stay.

His beloved wife and sons will always remember that day.

Many remember the good works he did walking with Jesus, along with me, his brother, by the way.

We miss him very much and life moves on but the same light shines in his family,

proof to the world of the Master’s touch!

Crosby his name was to be, sent by God, a new wonder for his family to see.

He was sent from above, blessed with God’s love, he and Grayson will fit together like a glove!

Gray will be his loving big brother, he will be keen to protect him from the bad other.

He will see what other people cannot see, special gifts he will have, unlike the ones given to you and me.

He and Gray will have a bond of brotherly love, their walk with God will be led from above.

The Holy Spirit will be their guide, from evil they will not hide, for in their Lord Jesus they will always abide!

Who is the enemy of the cross?

When I awoke this morning the scripture about the enemy of the cross came into my mind and I desired to know what people Paul the Apostle was speaking of. This is the scripture I was thinking of; for many walk, of whom I often told you, and now tell you even weeping, that they are enemies of the cross of Christ, Philippians 3: 18 NASB

The Lord revealed to me through my meditation the true meaning of this scripture and it is backed up by Jesus himself and confirmed by Paul in the Book of Galatians, concerning those whose actions and works caused Paul to weep. The enemy of the cross is the Religion of man. It is the work of Satan’s deception through man. They take the truth of God’s word and use it to promote a Religion that looks like the real thing but is false!  The method they use is the twisting of scripture and the Law given through the commandments of men. Their works produce a self-righteousness of the followers that results in their judgments and condemnation of others. Was it not the self-righteous Scribes and Pharisees who were always plotting against Jesus waiting to find a way to trip him up by setting up their traps, one being the woman caught in the very act of adultery? Who did our Lord condemn as blind leaders of the blind and children of their father the Devil? Who was Paul so infuriated at when he wrote to the Galatian Church, was it not the “Judaizes” who were Christians (Jews) who embraced both Jesus and the Law of Moses. So even to this day the real enemy of the cross is the false Religion of man but how many today even among believers recognize the true from the false? Because Satan transforms himself into an Angle of light using great deception so it can be difficult indeed. When Jesus began his ministry do you think the people looked at the Scribes and Pharisees the same way he did, no, they could not see the evil and darkness in them that our Lord clearly saw. So, even today many Christians do not see what has crept into many Churches which is the Law, legalism the commandments of men. The end results are the same as those that happened in the Galatian Church, believers were deceived, falling from grace into law and bondage. It has been perpetrated to greater results through the TV ministries today. They produce only feel good experiences and have no room for repentance towards God. They keep their captive audiences mesmerized through great swelling words, promises of health, wealth and happiness. It is not strange that they seem not to suffer much adversity but are like celebrities treated to interviews with the TV Anchors, could it be that Satan doesn’t have a problem with them? The Judaizes were sent by Satan to destroy the liberty the Galatians had in Christ and their only adversaries were Paul and the other believers who knew the truth. Paul wept because of these imposters and what they were doing to the believers by turning them from the grace of God to the bondage of Satan. Jesus said to follow him was to deny one’s self desires, take up the cross which means to bear his sufferings through persecutions, to put others before yourselfs. The enemies of the cross will have none of this; they feed their own lusts through the endless supply of money they extract from their followers, promising them freedom while they themselves are slaves of sin. They hate grace, love the tithe, they think they are right with God through their own self-righteousness and* works as did the Pharisees whom Jesus rebuked for that saying that the Prostitutes would be in Heaven and they would not be. When you hear those windbags on TV promising all kinds of good things that seem great, remember that old saying; if it seems too good to be true, it usually isn’t!

*Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name cast out demons, and in your name perform many miracles?’ Matthew 7:22 NASB.

Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who practice evil!'” Matthew 7:23 ISV.

Those scriptures should be a wakeup call to many as Jesus warned that MANY would come in his name and deceive many! If you notice that those deceivers say that they did all these works in his name but clearly they are false because the Lord rejects them and declares he NEVER knew them! It is opposite to what he says about those who belong to him; “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me—John 10:14 NIV.

Keep your eyes on Jesus and the cross where our freedom was purchased and do not be entangled again through a self-righteousness which comes through the Law.

Jesus Christ, the Father’s perfect likeness!

He is the reflection of God’s glory and the exact likeness of his being, and he holds everything together by his powerful word. After he had provided a cleansing from sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Highest Majesty Hebrews 1:3 ISV.

In times past God hid himself from men. He clothed his glory and brightness with clouds and chose to dwell in a Temple made with hands, hidden in the Holy of Holies.  No man could look upon him as he truly is and live. Only Moses was allowed to see his back parts while hiding in the cleft of the Rock. (Jesus)

This man Jesus lived a normal life, called the carpenter’s son by the locals. We know through God’s word that he had brothers and sisters who had no idea who he really was but Mary and Joseph knew and they treasured this secret in their hearts. There was an ongoing lingering suffering that they both experienced because of those who knew that Mary was with child before they were joined together as man and wife. Jesus also had to bear this false gossip that was repeated by the evil Pharisees one day after he had rebuked them. “You are doing the deeds of your father.” They said to Him, “We were not born of fornication; we have one Father: God.” John 8:41 NASB.

Obviously they had heard about this through the gossip from the people that knew Mary and Joseph and used it to insult Jesus, thus calling him falsely one born through sin.

It was at the wedding in Cana that his ministry began and his glory displayed by changing water into wine, a “New Creation”. That miracle symbolized the greater miracle of being Born Again, a New Creation by God himself, born from above as Jesus told Nicodemus the Pharisee.

The disciples and the masses had no idea of who this man from Galilee was but they knew God was with him by the great miracles he performed. Even a Pharisee acknowledged that a man could not do these signs and wonders except God be with him?  If this man were not of God, he could do nothing.  John 9:33 KJV.

This was said after Jesus had opened the eyes of a man born blind. I always loved reading how Jesus spat on the ground, mixed the dirt and spittle together and put it in the blind man’s eye sockets; do you really understand what he did? He displayed the power he used in creation, he created NEW EYES! God created man from the dust of the earth.  We are composed of organic matter which is found in the ground along with water, when Jesus mixed the two together he made new eyes! (All things were created by him and for him)

When these things took place his brothers at first *mocked him but later we learn that he saved them also. The Bible tells us that they were his half-brothers/sisters, having the same mother but different Fathers; he was born from above through the Holy Spirit and they were born from below through Joseph. Jesus revealed his glory on the** Mount as God the Word in human flesh. He is Emanuel, God with us and all of the fullness of the God dwells in him! (The brightness of God was seen shining through his flesh on that Mount)  This is why when asked to see the Father, Jesus replied; how long have I been with you and you don’t know me, when you see me, you see the Father also. He is our God walking with his people and after his resurrection actually dwelling in them as he had promised from his word in the Old Testament and confirmed in the New Testament.

Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said, “I WILL DWELL IN THEM AND WALK AMONG THEM; AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE. 2-Corinthians 6: 16 NASB.

So now we see clearly that Jesus is the second Adam and the perfect likeness of God as we read in the Book of Hebrews. Sinless in his flesh God himself dwelling in him, hidden to eyes but revealed through his words and works. How marvelous that God himself would eat drink and walk with his created men and women. As the Apostle John wrote that they had seen his glory and his humanity and how wonderful that we believers are in his family as his own children by adoption. This should bring praise and adoration of our Lord and Savior Jesus on this day as well as every day.

*For even his own brothers did not believe in him. John 7: 5 NIV.

**As the men watched, Jesus’ appearance was transformed so that his face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as light. Matthew 17: 2 NLT.

Some have twisted God’s word by denying that Jesus had brothers and sisters by saying that the word’s reference to them was of those who followed him, this is ridiculous because his followers did believe in him and his brothers were in the house with him when they mocked him. The word declares them as “His own brothers”. After the birth of Jesus Mary and Joseph had more children, son’s and daughters. This came as God blessed their marriage, the wife with many sons was a sign of blessing in the eyes of the Jews. As today, children are gifts from God. It is always wise to rightly divide the word of God and it comes with a warning in the Book of Revelation that those who add or “Twist the word” as we are told in the New Testament will suffer dire consequences! Revelation 22: 18
