Things promised to the meek
Those who seek your face Lord are closer to you than many of the human race,
the things they do are a disgrace.
Your Son and thy word they hate, not knowing that this has sealed their fate!
With you Lord I desire to talk, just a closer walk, when I am weak, it is only you
I seek.
Consider Jesus who is meek and mild blessed are all those he knows to be his child.
His sheep are they, those who follow the way, children of the day and light, overcomers through his Spirit, filled with his might.
They are the salt that brings flavor to the world of woe, through their good works
Jesus they do show.
Many promises to them you made, eternal life, love hope and joy, all our needs met, deliverance from the grave.
*Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. Matthew 5:5 NIV.
*Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. Matthew 11:29 KJB.
